Traditional broadband seems to be on its way out. Why is this? Partly because the cost of mobile broadband has drastically reduced over the past few months. This has meant that the networks have increasingly offered better and better offers, such as free laptops and free dongles with your purchase. One thing to note with the latest mobile phone contracts as well is that the number of free gifts and cashback offers available has also increased. Many of the networks are focussing on loss leader deals in an attempt to drive customer acquisition. We will wait to see if this strategy is working or not. You can also expect to see the number of pay as you go mobile phone deals to increase as people focus on reducing their monthly outgoings in an attempt to budget for the hard months ahead. One thing is for sure however and that is that there are still deals to be found as long as you shop around.
